The Highclere Show arrives over the May half-term holiday and is the perfect day out for the whole family, with first-class performances, country-inspired activities and an abundance of shopping opportunities for everyone to enjoy.
Offering a truly stunning backdrop, the Highclere Show is set within the glorious Highclere Castle grounds with the Castle standing proudly amidst the 1,000 acres of beautiful parkland. Of course, many visitors will recognise Highclere from ITV’s Downton Abbey with visitors not only able to enjoy the many stalls and features at the event, they’ll also be able to take in the truly beautiful setting too.
Taking place this Spring, the Highclere Show has a little bit of something for everyone. From the Knights of Middle England performing inside the Main Arena, to the stunning birds of prey over at the British Falconry and Raptor Fair, visitors can watch lots of demonstrations whilst getting involved in the welcoming, interactive displays too.
If music is more your thing, visitors can watch and listen to the Folk Roots performers and the magnificent Horndean Band whilst shopping the hundreds of stores selling lots of country accessories and products. We also welcome some exquisite local food produce and drinks at the Food Festival, and indulge in all-things hand-made over at the Traditional Rural Crafts section. As well as all this, there’s lots of gundog action and events, Simulated Coursing for our Terrier and Lurcher friends and a magnificent Hound Parade that cannot be missed!
If you’re on the lookout for something different to entertain the family over the May half-term holiday, then why not browse the Highclere Show website and discover everything we’ve got coming to next year’s show. Visitors can also pre-book tickets and save too. We can’t wait to welcome you all in!
