The Terrier and Lurcher showing and racing events at the Highclere Show are a fantastic way to put your four-legged companion through his or her paces. It’s also a great way to meet like-minded individuals with a passion for this type of sport too!

Taking place over the May half-term holiday, the 28th & 29th May 2022, the Highclere Show has lots of outdoor pursuits for visitors and enthusiasts to get involved in. The Terrier and Lurcher events are professionally organised by the Coursing Crew and are great fun to be a part of.

With handlers set to arrive from all over the country, the Highclere Show also host qualifying rounds in the prestigious The Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions.

Does your lurcher show a natural aptitude for hurdles? Or perhaps your little terrier has show-stopping confirmation? If you feel your dog has what it takes, why not come along to the Highclere Show and take part?

The Terrier and Lurcher showing and racing events take place on both days of the Highclere Show. For more information about getting involved, browse our website and check out the Terrier and Lurcher stand at the Highclere Show this May.

If you’re on the lookout for something different to entertain the family over the May half-term holiday, then why not browse this website and discover everything we’ve got coming to this year’s Show. Visitors can also pre-book tickets and save too. We can’t wait to welcome you all in!
