The superb Folk Roots Festival arrives at the Highclere Show over 28th & 29th May 2022.

Guaranteed to get toes tapping and visitors dancing in the aisles, the Festival promises lots of fun. Featuring some of the finest Folk, Jazz and Blues musicians from around the country, visitors are sure to be up on their feet as they listen to some show-stopping sounds!

A firm favourite at Highclere, the Folk Roots Festival has a fantastic line up in store. On the Saturday of the Show, Jack Blackman & The Beautiful Wreck will be taking to the stage. No strangers to Blues and Folk, Jack also fuses his music with Country, Rock and Pop.

Navaro will also be performing, bringing their original and appealing music with a Folk and Country twist, a fabulous trio of musicians that really are not to be missed!

Also playing on the Saturday are award-winning folk duo, Elizabeth & Jameson. Rising stars in the UK acoustic music scene, the duo offer simplicity and classic song writing at its very best.

On Sunday 29th May, visitors can listen to The Rants, who will be showcasing their new multi-genre, multi-instrumental acoustics, whilst serving up a fabulous musical gumbo drawn from Blues, Folk and Americana roots.

If Celtic music is more your thing, Govannen will be bringing their good-time Celtic music to the event. Blending jigs and reels with traditional and contemporary Irish songs, this popular and award-winning band are great fun and highly entertaining.

Also performing on the Sunday are The Rogue Embers. A powerhouse Derbyshire 5-piece, this band have a distinctive fast-paced blend of Americana/Folk-Rock fuelled by driving rhythm and powerful harmonies.
