The Highclere Show is very nearly here and with so much in store we can’t wait to welcome you all to the gorgeous grounds of Highclere Castle next weekend.
Taking place at the start of the half-term holiday, over 28th & 29th May, parents looking to take the kids somewhere next weekend need look no further. Plus, with advance tickets still available to purchase until noon on Tuesday 24th May, there’s some amazing savings to be had.
Here’s what’s in store next weekend…
From a fantastic line-up inside the Main Arena, including headliners the Knights of Middle England, Paws for Thought Dog Display Team, Chris Green, Simulated Coursing and The Horndean Band, there’s plenty of action to watch inside Highclere’s hub, the Main Arena.
We’re also thrilled to welcome The British Falconry & Raptor Fair, which has found its new home right here at the Highclere Show. Packed full of displays from some of the country’s leading falconers and complemented by a vast range of exhibition stands, the British Falconry & Raptor Fair is a must stop-off for falconers and everyone interested in discovering more about these incredible birds of prey.
If music is more your thing, there’s the superb Folk Roots Festival, where we welcome the finest Folk, Jazz and Blues musicians from around the country. We also welcome some exquisite local food produce and drinks at the Food Festival and the Chefs Demo Area.
For the younger ones visiting Highclere, there’s a dedicated Kids Zone with plenty of kid-friendly features, including balloon modelling, face-painting, a Punch and Judy Show and gold panning… plus it’s all free too! Whereas elsewhere within the showground, families can also find the ever-popular bungee trampolines, bouncy castles and crossbows and catapults too.
As well as all this, there’s lots of sporting action to be had, including the BASC Gundog Scurries and events, Simulated Coursing and our Terrier and Lurcher showing and racing events, plus an array of Clay Shooting competitions and have-a-go features too.
If you’re on the lookout for something different to entertain the family next weekend, then why not browse this website and discover everything we’ve got instore. Visitors can also still pre-book tickets and save too. The last chance to book your advance tickets online is noon on Tuesday 24th May. We can’t wait to welcome you all in!
Spring into action!
