The Highclere Show takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday, over 28th and 29th May 2023… with so much going on, be sure not to miss out!
Gundogs play an important role in many shooting sports. Whether hunting and flushing game, or tracking and retrieving, gundog breeds come in all shapes and sizes, each specifically bred for a purpose. Despite having outstanding working pedigree, our gundogs still like to have fun.
At the Highclere Show, we have a portfolio of gundog events that not only showcase the outstanding working characteristics of our gundogs, but are also great fun for dogs and handlers alike.
With some fantastic cash prizes up for grabs, the sundog scurries are organised by Hawcroft Gundogs and Monagea Gundogs and kindly sponsored by Muntjac Trading, and offer the Long Retrieve, Short Fence, Up and Over and a Working Test for you to test your skills.
Prizes are available on each day and the gundog scurries always prove to be popular, so why not pop along with your four-legged friend and give it a try.
